Linda has been a dream councilmember for active community volunteers in our district. She is always interested in moving community-based projects forward and is a fearless advocate for achieving our city’s environmental, safety and inclusivity goals. Early on, Linda championed my idea to distribute Emergency Go bags to all Sunnyvale households (even giving me one of her 2026 Council Priority Project slots). While the idea did not advance this year, Linda is committed to helping the idea succeed in the future.
I’ve known Linda since before she first became a city council member and she has always been dedicated to the well-being of her community (in Sunnyvale and beyond). Linda co-founded a local, youth-led nonprofit called Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action (SVYCA) that advocates for environmentally-smart policies at a local and state level, and she served as an incredibly helpful advisor of the youth Sunnyvale chapter. Now, as a City Councilmember, Linda Sell is an Environmental Champion, working with various groups including the SVYCA Sunnyvale chapter to push for environmental and health policies in Sunnyvale. I support Linda Sell for City Council because she listens to her constituents and does right by her community.
